Presenter: David Lenzmeier, Spartan alumnus 1989 & 1990

Dairy industry entrepreneur David Lenzmeier grew up on a dairy farm in Pearl Lake, MN and began his career in Litchfield at a dairy cooperative that was one of the earliest North American producers of whey protein. In 2000, he co-founded the nutritional ingredient company Proteint.

Lenzmeier, a 2013 EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the Upper Midwest, joined Milk Specialties Global in 2008 as president and was named CEO in 2011.
