Otter Tail County Solid Waste will be accepting business florescent bulbs for ONE DAY ONLY. Businesses will be charged the cost for recycling.

Tubes 4 feet or less = $0.14 each.
Tubes > 4 feet = $0.28 each.

Please have your bulbs packaged and counted prior to coming to the drop off.

Tips for transporting your bulbs for safe disposal.

• Handle with care:
  • Be careful when handling and transporting fluorescent bulbs to avoid breakage and exposure to mercury.
• Storing:
  • To avoid breaking bulbs, store them in their original packaging.
• Transporting:
  • When transporting fluorescent bulbs for recycling, repack them in their original packaging. Please do not tape them. Place in a box to prevent breakage.
