Join Hinge Resident Artist (hosted by Springboard for the Arts), Jane Claire Remick from Washington D.C., for a short artist talk and workshop on digitizing embroidery. She will share her ongoing work and experimentation based on 19th century Mi-Atlantic American Samplers and contemporary factory-produced machine embroidery. Participants will be invited to collaborate on a "digital sampler." Don't worry: coding and design skills are not necessary to participate.
