Halloween allows the historical society to revisit some of Otter Tail County’s most notorious people and events. The county’s history is filled with stories that are shocking, spine tingling and bizarre. Taken directly from local historical accounts, readers will present stories of grisly murders, weird events and other blood-curdling tales. Since many of the stories have become the stuff of legend, the truth has often been obscured. The Haunted Museum is an opportunity to go beyond the rumors to get the true gory details.
