Childcare providers must take Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED class. This course covers adult only CPR and use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and relief of choking. First aid basics, medical, injury and environmental emergencies are covered. Heartsaver courses are intended for non-healthcare professionals. Two-year American Heart Association certification. Must be 16 years of age unless accompanied by a parent. Books will be available at class for fee of $7.50.
