Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV), a nonprofit organization serving veterans statewide, along with the Otter Tail County Veteran Service office, will be hosting the first Fergus Falls Veterans' StandDown.  All veterans seeking services are welcome.  Onsite assistance available include free lunch, clothing, VA benefit information, legal assistance-- including a court component, housing and employment assistance, and referrals, chemical dependency recovery groups, DMV, haricuts, chaplaincy, public benefits information, and more.  Resources and assistance available for U.S. veterans who are homeless, at risk of being homeless, or seeking benefits or assistance at MACV StandDown 2014.
