Fergus Falls native, Newbery Honor and New York Times Bestselling author Margi Preus will discuss the extensive research and historical background behind her books. She will focus on Norwegian immigration and folklore from "West of the Moon" and the occupation of Norway and resistance activities during World War II featured in "Shadow on the Mountain". This project was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
