Must be 16 years of age and meet requirements of skills pre-test. This course provides the training needed to teach courses in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety Program by developing participant's understanding of how to use the course materials, conduct training sessions and evaluate participant's progress. Whether you want to teach kids to swim or help children or adults refine their strokes, you can do it as a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Online curriculum must be completed prior to class.
