With the recent painting of the sharrows along Westside Drive, it's time to celebrate this great trail connection on the south side of town. No longer do bikes and pedestrians have to traverse the narrow, high-speed section of Alcott Avenue to travel across the southwest side of Fergus Falls! We'll meet at the end of the westerly Westside Drive cul-de-sac, off of Tower Road. After a few brief remarks from invited dignitaries (including Mayor Ben Schierer), we'll take a photo at the entrance to the trail. After the photo op, folks can walk the trail, or ride the trail and Westside Drive to Alcott and back for a quick tour of the trail and new sharrows! And even if you don't feel like a walk or a bike ride that day, we'd love to have you join us!
