About Us

What we do: RMCEP offers a wide variety of services to support workforce development in our service area. In
addition to assisting the general public with finding jobs, we have specific services for Employers, Adults,
Low-Income Adults and Families, Youth, Senior Citizens, MFIP participants and Dislocated Workers. Funding
sources include Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act programs, Minnesota State Dislocated Worker
programs, State and Federal Youth programs and the Minnesota Family Investment Program. RMCEP is a leader
with the National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC) in our service area. Some of our services include: training
for a new occupation; skill assessment and development; support for surviving job loss or transitioning to
self-sufficiency; career assessment and planning; job search and job readiness assistance (writing resumes,
interviewing help); on-the-job training; and a staffed Resource Center with job listings, publications and employer
information. We can provide job listings, job market information, and answers to employment issues. For Youth, we
offer preparation for work or training, summer employment and workplace training, and career exploration. And the
best part: We work with our customers on a one-on-one basis.
